Underwater Intervention

Underwater Intervention 2020 (UI 2020), co-hosted by the Association of Diving Contractors International and the ROV Committee of the Marine Technology Society, is the must-attend event of the year, when the entire underwater operations industry gathers for three days of face-to-face meetings, education and networking.

Taking place at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans from February 4 to 6, UI 2020 will be attended by leaders from across the industry, including underwater operations services and equipment suppliers, ocean engineering and construction companies, commercial diving and ROV contractors, underwater operations consultants, engineers, project managers and purchasing agents.

Education is the absolute cornerstone for UI. Through seven individual technical tracks, UI 2020 will deliver educational content that addresses the industry’s most challenging topics. Attendees from across the country and around the world come to UI to gain new perspectives, share ideas and evaluate solutions.

In addition to the seven tracks, UI 2020 will offer tutorial sessions, panel discussions, think-tank roundtables and supplier-solutions sessions for best practices.

“UI 2020 will position attendees to be more proactive in dealing with challenges in the underwater operations industry,” said David Petrillo, show manager for UI 2020. “The show offers attendees education and thought-sharing opportunities that propel them into successful and safer underwater operations.”

The technical tracks are:
o Commercial Diving
o Manned Submersibles
o Marine Education
o Remotely Operated Vehicles
o Survey and Mapping
o Unmanned Untethered Vehicles
o Entrepreneurs Innovations and Emerging Technologies

There will be a panel discussion. “2025 Offshore Oilfield,” that will explore the challenges and opportunities of the offshore oilfield and the best means to overcome these challenges and maximize the opportunities.

The UI Think Tank will be located in the exhibit hall for added convenience. Two compelling sessions are planned and designed to be informative as well as interactive. Join either or both sessions to learn and share ideas on industry challenges and best practices.

Attendees will be able to learn from leading exhibitors who have their thumbs on the pulse of our industry. See from their perspective the latest and greatest, innovative solutions for the industry challenges we face every day.

The Underwater Technology Showcase is specially designed to push boundaries in underwater intervention. The informative, interactive sessions will provoke thought sharing and industry-shaping conversations.

With dedicated hours for the Exhibit Hall, UI 2020 is the most efficient and cost-effective means for top-level industry executives and suppliers to meet face to face and develop meaningful business relationships while evaluating the best products and services being offered in the industry.

UI 2020 is the single best platform to learn, share and network in the underwater operations industry. It is designed to be enriching and enjoyable.
