Valeport’s latest and most popular sound speed profiler, the SWiFT SVP, has now been upgraded to provide enhanced versatility and deployment. The improved SWiFT will now operate down to 500 m (previous depth rating was 200 m). Valeport has also increased the profiler’s pressure accuracy from 0.5 to 0.01 percent, fitting only one 50-bar pressure transducer.

It comes with Bluetooth connectivity, rechargeable battery and an integral GPS module to geolocate each profile.

Constructed from titanium for durability and with a battery endurance of up to a week, the SWiFT SVP is intended for coastal, harbor and inland hydrographic survey use.
