On Mar. 20, 2019, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is conducting a lease sale offering more than 78 million acres in federal waters offshore Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida for oil and gas exploration and development.

Lease Sale 252, which offers all unleased and non-protected areas in the Gulf of Mexico, will be livestreamed to the public via www.boem.gov. The bid reading begins at 9:00 a.m. Central Time.

Officials will announce the results of the sale and answer questions immediately following at 10:30 a.m.
