Online valuation platform VesselsValue launched a new section for the offshore construction sector to evaluate vessels ranging from pipe and cable layers to well stimulation and support vessels.

In an interview with Subsea World News, Charlie Hockless, head of the VesselsValue offshore project, discusses major trends revealed in the new section. Hockless lists the ten most valuable offshore construction vessels of the more than 2000 vessels he surveyed, with the total value of vessels in the sector reaching $26.9 billion.
