Ocean Technology Incubator Seeks Tenants that Innovate
The Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) in Nova Scotia, Canada is seeking tenants in the ocean technology sector to occupy a collaborative incubation facility. Located on Halifax Harbor, the eight-acre site with 12-acres of water lots includes direct harbor access with piers, a boat facility, two acres for laydown, an exterior storage facility and more than 50,000 sq. ft. of commercial indoor space, including a physical plant and workshop.
The Cove facility plans to house multiple small and medium companies as well as development teams from larger companies in a collaborative commercial community of member-tenants that include local and global ocean technology businesses, start-ups, researchers, and marine-based and service businesses that support the ocean technology sector.
The COVE is intended to provide unique space and create a community for start-up businesses in order to facilitate ocean technology commercialization.
