New Business Development Director at Next Geosolutions Europe
Next Geosolutions Europe S.p.A., an international company in the field of marine geosciences and offshore construction support services, mainly in the energy sector, with a focus on renewable energies, has announced Jurgen Beerens as its new business development director for the North and Baltic Seas. He will be responsible for continually identifying new goals and business opportunities in offshore wind and renewable energies.
Beerens began his career in 1991 as a hydrographic surveyor in the marine construction sector. Over the years, while traveling around the world, he participated in a variety of offshore and coastal projects, focusing on the collection and management of hydrographic, geophysical and geotechnical data. He subsequently covered consultancy, management and strategic commercial development roles. His previous leadership roles include commercial director and director of business development strategy for Deep BV.
Beerens’ appointment strengthens NextGeo’s development strategy in northern Europe and reinforces its commitment to being a key player in the ongoing energy transition, focusing on ambitious and challenging business opportunities.
