The fairway maintained by the Finnish Transport Agency and the Port of Rauma installed 33 smart beacons to increase visibility and transport safety. The beacons designed and installed by Meritaito Ltd. can be adjusted by pilots to increase light output as needed or by maritime agencies to dim the lights when the fairway is not in use.
