The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is hosting its official hackathon, XBuild, Apr. 28-29 in Boulder, Colorado. The event is free for participants and will provide hardware including soldering kits, drones, HTC Vives and more to teams of two to five people to build new, innovative unmanned systems. The event running Apr. 28 at 9:00 a.m. to Apr. 29 at 5:00 p.m. will include prizes of more than $10,000. Individuals and newcomers as well as veteran teams are welcome to apply to participate. Sponsors and mentors are also wanted to support the event and working teams.
