$2.6 Million Awarded for Maritime Heritage Projects

The National Park Service and the Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration (MARAD) are providing $2.6 million in Maritime Heritage Grants to 34 preservation and education projects in 14 states and the Northern Mariana Islands. The awards are financed through the sales of obsolete MARAD vessels.
