Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), a world leader in ocean exploration, discovery, and education, has named Dr. Anna Michel, an associate scientist in the Department of Applied Ocean Physics and Engineering, as new Chief Scientist for its National Deep Submergence Facility.
