Senior NOAA Official Calls for Retraction of Study on Illegal Fishing

Chris Oliver, recently appointed NOAA assistant administrator for fisheries, has called for retraction of a paper that finds one-fifth of the 2015 exports from Alaska to Japan illegal, unreported and unregulated.
