VideoRay is now accepting entries for its 2019 photo and video contests.

Grand prize winners will receive a tablet, and runners-up will receive a VideoRay jacket. Plus, all approved submissions will receive a VideoRay t-shirt. In addition, the top images as determined by VideoRay will be included in the 2020 VideoRay Calendar, which will be distributed in early 2020. All images/videos submitted will be displayed in the “Best of VideoRay 2019” photo and video galleries at www.videoray.com with full photo credits and a link back to the respective website or Facebook page.
 
Photo Contest
You can send up to three high-resolution photos of you with your VideoRay ROV or the ROV in action. Images can be above or below the water surface, and with or without an ROV pilot in the image.

Requirements:

• Photo must include a VideoRay ROV submersible or operator/console (with a VideoRay logo clearly visible if possible).
• Photo must be a high-resolution color image (as high-res as possible; must be at least 300 dpi to be considered for print purposes).
• Include a caption that includes the photographer’s name, date the image was taken, ROV pilot’s name and brief mission description.
• Images cannot be retouched or Photoshopped.
• If submitter did not take the image, permission and credit from original photographer is required.
• Image must be in jpg, png, tif or pdf format.
• Photos submitted in previous VideoRay competitions will not be accepted.

Video Contest
For the video contest, your submission can be either of your VideoRay in action or a video taken by your ROV. You can submit up to three 10-MB video clips.

Requirements:

• Video must include a VideoRay ROV submersible and an operator/console (with a VideoRay logo clearly visible if possible).
• Video must be high resolution (submission can be smaller due to lack of upload size in form. VideoRay will reach out if it needs the full-size file.).
• Include a caption that includes the videographer’s name, date the video was taken, ROV pilot’s name and brief mission description.
• Videos cannot be retouched or electronically manipulated.
• If submitter did not take the video, permission and credit from original videographer is required.
• Video must be in .mp3 or .mp4 format.
