OEM7 Receivers Now Include Firmware Support
For Land Vehicles and Direct IMU Connections

September 7, 2017

NovAtel has released new 7.03.00 firmware for all OEM7 series receivers, including OEM719, OEM729 and OEM7700 boards. This update provides tracking of the NavIC Indian regional satellite system on the L5 frequency and increases the number of ICOM ports to seven.

SPAN land vehicle support provides performance benefits for land vehicles including dead reckoning capabilities for extended loss of GPS signals, robust alignment routines and improved attitude performance.

SPAN enabled models can directly connect to IMU connections without an interface card, and the new update also offers attitude output in Quaternions (INSATTQS log), STATIC or KINEMATIC alignment routines.
