Ball-shaped, sci-fi looking pods have been developed to float across the ocean to a specified desert island programmed into their mapping system. Guests on the pods will enjoy a night bobbing across the waves as they are transported to the island.

These pods are part of the floating Mizukami Hotel that has been designed by Japanese company Huis Ten Bosch. Up to four can sleep in each room, and they come with double beds, toilets and showers. A night in the floating orb costs around £250.
