ROV Lights
SeaLite® Sphere’s 32 high-power LEDs provide twice the power of a 250 W halogen light while using about 40 percent less power. The light can be dimmed using simple phase control or variable voltage, and its spherical housing is depth-rated to 6,000 m. It works as a plug-and-play replacement for existing Multi-SeaLites® or any halogen light currently being used on a vehicle. It is designed for ROVs, submersibles and offshore structures and its LEDs are rated to more than 50,000 hours. DeepSea Power & Light Inc.

Deepwater-Rated Imaging Sonar
The Gemini 720id is a deepwater-rated version of the 720i, using its array of transducers to provide a 120° field of view for a real-time sonar image. The device has near-focus capability for short-range manipulator work as well as long-range target detection. It can be integrated on ROV and AUV platforms. Tritech International Ltd.
Sound Velocity Sensor
For use in water-filled cavity surveys and well-logging applications, the SV2000 sensor is capable of operating from 0 to 2,000 m/s at elevated temperatures and pressures. The vertical sonar instrument was designed around a standard 4-in. bore to enable access in the majority of settings. OSIL and AML Oceanographic.

Seismic Navigation, Synchronization
TriggerFish™ 1.7, a new version of the company’s real-time seismic navigation and event synchronization system, includes such features as multishooter, multirecorder, advanced radio communications and fleet synchronization. The multivessel function is scalable to up to four vessels per radio link. Sercel.

Diver Camera and Recorder
The UWS-3310-AC/DC is a portable diver console with a 12-in. sunlight-readable monitor and a standard-definition digital video recorder housed in a suitcase. It can be powered with 12 to 24 VDC or 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 hertz. Outland Technology Inc.

Gyro Stabilization System
A high-strength, 8,000 rpm flywheel powers the M8000, providing 8,000 Nms of righting force to stabilize vessels with up to 35 tons of displacement. Spool-up time to stabilization is 20 minutes and 35 minutes to rated rpm. It measures 36.2 by 39.2 by 27.7 in. and weighs 1,155 lbs. The device performs equally whether at anchor, at dock or underway. Seakeeper Inc.

FS-3 Sonar Software Upgrade
SonaSoft™ version 2.3 is an upgrade to the software powering all FS-3 series sonars, with improvements in processing, user interface and display. New features include improved in-water target detection, automatic bottom detection, improved shallow-water and short-range performance, and support for C-Map vector charts. FarSounder Inc.

GPS Compass and Positioning System
The single-enclosure V102 provides 0.75° heading accuracy while supporting the NMEA 0183 communications format. It includes the Crescent Vector II GPS receiver, two GPS antennas, a single-axis gyro and two tilt sensors that provide pitch, roll and heave measurements on a single board. Hemisphere GPS LLC.

Boat Security and Tracking System
The NT Evolution combines Nav-Tracker and Marine Magellan technology to provide boat security, monitoring and tracking in a single unit. The system can accommodate up to 32 wireless sensors, a hardwired zone input, 16 key fob remotes and up to eight wireless relays that control the AC or DC functions on board the vessel. Global Ocean Security Technologies.

Doppler Velocity Log
Depth-rated to 1,000 m, the 150-kHz phased array velocity sensor, called the PAVS150, is designed to provide precision velocity data at up to 500 m above the seafloor. A compact transducer and electronics allow the vehicle to be installed on 12.75-in.-diameter vehicles. A real-time current profiling option provides additional data parameters from the instrument. Teledyne RD Instruments.

Data Collector for Wireless Loggers
The RTR-500AW acts as a wireless base unit for any RTR-500 series data loggers being used as remote units. The device monitors and downloads readings using an 802.11g Wi-Fi connection. It also can send warning reports via e-mail if a remote unit has entered or recovered from a warning condition. T&D Corp.

Satellite TV System
The TracVision M1DX in-motion satellite system weighs only 7.5 lbs and has a diameter of 12.5-in. Its 12 V multiservice interface box supports most DISH and DIRECTV home receivers, and it is compatible with Ku-band HDTV programming. Whisper Drive technology allows for quiet operation. KVH Industries Inc.

Underwater Photo System Tray
Specifically designed for compact camera housings, the Blue Ray Tray allows the integration of different components in an underwater photo system, including the housing, arms, strobes, lights and lens holders. Compatible with Canon, Fujifilm, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic, Ikelite, Sea&Sea and Fantasea compact housings. Fantasea Line.

ENC to DNC Converter Plug-in
S-57 Composer 2.2 now has an optional DNC plug-in that automatically converts DNC to ENC and vice versa with an 80 percent first-pass success rate. The plug-in provides customized mapping support, built-in editing and quality-assurance tools. Caris.

Floating Marine Handheld Radio
The IC-M24 has a bright red LED that flashes if dropped in the water, even if the radio is turned off, and it is one-third smaller than its predecessor, the M34. The VHF radio provides 5 W of transmit power and up to 10 hours of typical operating time. It provides 600 mW of audio output and uses a rechargeable 1,500 mAh Li-ion battery. Icom America Inc.

Pipeline and Structural Survey Suite
The latest release of VisualWorks, version 9.0, introduces two new features: Visual3D-Inspector provides inspection work scope planning and progress tracking and the 3D Structural Viewer provides two-way linking of components in asset models with real video and related survey and inspection data. VisualSoft Ltd.

Forward-Looking Sonar
Ultrascan PC180 uses two synchronized transducers with no moving parts that are mounted on each side of the vessel’s keel, providing full 180° forward horizontal views. Forward ranges are up to 1,200 ft. with bottom ranges of up to 600 ft. It connects to a PC via Ethernet. Interphase Technologies Inc.

Fire Hazard Detection
The FireLaser linear heat detection system, which connects to a fiber optic cable installed within an asset being protected, can measure temperature changes of less than 1° C in 3 seconds. It determines temperature and distance data at thousands of points along its lengths and can detect a hot spot on the cable at up to 4 km to within 1 m. Sensornet Ltd.
