Submersible Pressure Transducer
The new high-accuracy versions of the CS450 and the CS455 measure pressures with a static accuracy of ±0.05 percent FS over a temperature range of 0° to 60° C in pressures ranges from 0 to 50 kPa to 0 to 1,000 kPa. Campbell Scientific Inc.
Clamp Meter
The EX845 1000A clamp meter measures AC/DC current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency and infrared and contact temperature. It also conducts diode tests and continuity checks. METERLiNK technology connects the meter with a forward-looking infrared camera via Bluetooth, instantly imprinting electrical readings onto a related infrared image. Extech Instruments Corp.

Mooring Line Modem
The MLM-1000 connects with up to 32 instruments and transmits data at 4,800 baud. The modem uses an underwater transformer to transmit information through a jacketed mooring line without cables or connectors. RBR Ltd.

CTD Sensor
CastAway CTD is a watertight, handheld, castable instrument. The device uses integrated GPS to log position, date and time at the beginning and end of every cast, allowing users to take fewer field notes. YSI Inc.

Weather Station
MetPak II uses ultrasonic technology to measure wind speed and direction. It also measures temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. Output formats include SDI-12, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 or analog. Gill Instruments Ltd.

CTD Groundwater Datalogger
CTD-Diver’s four-electrode ceramic sensor provides high-accuracy conductivity measurements up to 120 mS/cm. The ceramic housing provides reliable performance in corrosive high-salinity waters. The nonvolatile memory will store up to 48,000 measurements. Schlumberger Water Services.

Navigation Computer
With a 10.4-in. touch-screen display, C-NaviGator controls and monitors C-Nav GPS receivers and NMEA-compliant GPS systems. The computer has 4 built-in series ports and 2 USB ports. C-Nav World DGPS.

Side Scan Sonar, Sub-Bottom Profiler
Model 4901, a 425-kHz side scan and sub-bottom profiler, uses a small tow fish and a compact 2-unit suitcase design for portable data collection. One case contains the user controls and a 12-in. display, and the other contains the transmitter and receiver cards. Ross Laboratories Inc.

Photonic Control Devices
The CONEX family of devices connects through a USB port, eliminating the need for additional power supplies or cables for computer-controlled systems. The CC model is a controller/driver for the company’s low-power DC servo motor stages or actuator. The PSD9 model is a position-sensing detector. The IOD model is a general purpose I/O module. Newport Corp.

Shortwave Infrared Video Camera
Designed for military use, the SU320HX uses InGaAs (indium gallium arsenide) technology to image through haze, fog, smoke and dust for surveillance applications and marine intelligence. Sensors Unlimited Inc.

Dinghy Rack
DinghyRack’s lightweight foam brackets can be installed without drilling holes in the bow, and it can store any size inflatable dinghy without damaging the deck. AquaFoam Inc.

Pinger Receiver Boat Deployment Kit
By mounting a pinger acoustic receiver to a hydrophone and a 6-ft. sectional pole, boat-deployed search teams can directionally listen for a pinger signal without having to put a diver in the water. JW Fishers Mfg. Inc.

Tide Gauge
With internal data logging for up to 10 years of readings taken every 10 minutes, the TideM8 modular Bluetooth tide gauge records the time, date, average tide, water temperature, barometric pressure and wave range. OHMEX Ltd.

ENC Sounding Checker
This tool was developed in response to a U.K. Hydrographic Office Nav Warning that said many ECDIS systems will not detect shoal depths encoded using the EXPSOU attribute with the value of 2. Data producers can use this free Microsoft Windows command-line tool to batch-check their ENCs. SevenCs GmbH.

Bandwidth and Capacity Manager
Vipersat technology enhances the Sealink service. The technology allows customers with multiple vessels and one bandwidth pool per satellite beam to efficiently allocate bandwidth on demand. It also automatically switches to a new satellite beam when necessary, eliminating the need for manual intervention. Marlink S.A.

ROV
The video monitor on the Falcon ROV now incorporates an up-front flight display overlay, providing pilots with a compass, an umbilical turns counter and system menus, as well as depth, vehicle pitch and roll, and camera tilt angle information. Additional sensors on the ROV can also be displayed. Current Falcon users can add the new features by swapping out a PCB card. Saab Seaeye Ltd.

Sonar Software Upgrade
Sonasoft™ 2.1 is a major upgrade for the FS-3DT forward-looking sonar. Based on customer feedback, the GUI has been changed. Engineers have also added a vessel speed upgrade with up to 20-knot capability and improved automatic bottom detection with enhanced seafloor visualization. FarSounder Inc.

Motion Reference Unit
The MRU 5+ uses linear accelerometers and 3 microelectromechanical systems rate gyros to achieve a documented roll and pitch accuracy of 0.01° RMS. The system enables lifetime reliability, combining very low noise, bias stability and gain accuracy. Kongsberg Seatex A/S.

Weather Data Service
Providing a comprehensive suite of location-based weather information, QuikLink™ offers global, low-bandwidth weather information over a data connection. When the system is connected to a PC, service data can be georeferenced with a NMEA-compatible GPS device, allowing users to track both position and weather data. Baron Services Inc.

Hydrostatic Pressure Testing System
With a range of vessels rated to 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 and 20,000 psi, this new high-performance testing system enables comprehensive testing on up to 3 circuits in 6 chambers simultaneously. This allows several different tests on multiple products. BIRNS Inc.
