Canyon Offshore Ltd., Aberdeen, Scotland, has been awarded a contract for offshore cable trenching services on 900 km of the North Sea Link interconnector project. TDI-Brooks International, College Station, Texas, has been awarded funding for the study “Deepwater Atlantic Habitats II: Continued Atlantic Research and Exploration in Deepwater Ecosystems with Focus on Coral, Canyon and Seep Communities.” The U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), NOAA-OER and the U.S. Geological Survey.

ProSep, Houston, Texas, announced a contract for its organosilica water treatment solution, Osorb Media, for polishing oilfield water and gas streams, to reduce benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene (BTEX) contaminants to less than 15 ppm on an offshore platform. Undisclosed.

M2 Subsea, Westhill, Scotland, formed an alliance with a vessel operator to provide subsea ROV services in the Gulf of Mexico. Subsea’s Triton ROV system, rated to 3,000-m depth, will be used in the survey and inspection market. Harvey Gulf International Marine.

Peterhead Port Authority, Peterhead, Scotland, has been awarded a major offshore windmill contract supporting European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre construction of foundations for an 11-turbine scheme.
