Erik Anderson
Graeme Booth has been named regional technical support leader at Ashtead Technology. Booth has more than 25 years’ experience in the subsea industry. He will provide customers with technical support covering equipment rentals and custom-engineered packages for survey and ROV operations worldwide.

Erik Anderson has joined EdgeTech as a hydrographic product engineer. Anderson has previous experience with NOAA’s Office of Coast Survey and brings extensive hydrographic expertise. He will provide his expertise as the company grows its bathymetric and sonar offerings.

Vince Trotta has been named the director of sales for Samson. Trotta brings nearly 20 years’ experience with various roles from commercial fishing category manager to west coast regional sales manager. He replaces recently retired Terry Crump, who will remain on staff through February 2017.

OceanWorks International has appointed Glen Viau as president. Viau has more than 24 years’ experience at the forefront of the subsea technology industry. He will be responsible for adding OceanWorks’ capabilities in submarine rescue systems, seafloor observatory systems and subsea systems for the oil and gas market.

Harris Pye Singapore has made Dave Clark general manager. Clark brings over nine years’ experience in various senior project and operational positions. He recently worked for BW Offshore and Maersk FPSOs in Brazil.

Caroline Thomas has been appointed partner of Hill Dickinson’s Hong Kong practice. Thomas specializes in insurance, shipping and competition law, with a focus on dispute resolution and regulation.

MBC Applied Environmental Sciences has named Steven Mack Sullivan a consulting scientist. Sullivan brings hydrographic and geophysical survey capabilities.

Helge Flesland has been named to the mission critical systems group in Norway by Global Maritime Consultancy and Engineering. Flesland will be responsible for managing and further developing Global Maritime’s mission critical systems, including crane, marine operations and dynamic positioning.

Digital Marine Solutions AS, a parent company of C-Map, has appointed Paul Østergaard as executive chairman. Østergaard will work alongside the DMS board of directors and the C-Map leadership team to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan and lead the company in achieving its growth targets in 2017.
