Nylund
Katie Davage is now a part of the Chelsea Technolgies Group Ltd. (West Molesey, England) sales team. Davage will focus on promoting Chelseaís FastOcean FRR fluorometers for in-situ and in-vitro estimation of gross primary productivity.

Arne Sigve Nylund has been appointed executive vice president for Statoilís (Stavanger, Norway) development and production Norway. Nylundís office location will be Stavanger. He succeeds Øystein Michelsen, who has been appointed country manager in Tanzania.

Dr. Ole Aarup Mikkelsen has been hired as system sales manager to the specialist ocean science team at the MacArtney Group (Esbjerg, Denmark). Mikkelsen holds a Ph.D. in physical geography from the University of Copenhagen and has written on the topic of suspended sediment dynamics in coastal waters.

BIRNS Inc. (Oxnard, California) appointed Jeff Hager as mechanical design engineer. Hager was recruited to focus on the design and development of the companyís connector systems. Hager holds U.S. patents for eight complex connector products for applications ranging from the NASA space station and the Hubble telescope to missiles and naval surface ships.

ROVOP (Westhill, Scotland) has appointed Alan Shanks as finance director. Shanks also joins the board of directors, bringing experience in facilitating and managing strategic business expansion from a financial perspective. His experience includes working with owner-managed and private equity-backed businesses.

The new chief financial officer of Ocean Power Technologies Inc. (Pennington, New Jersey), Mark Featherstone is a seasoned executive with 30 years of experience working with capital markets, regulatory and accounting matters, strategic alliances and treasury management.

Tony Bon, Samsonís (Ferndale, Washington) current president, has been named CEO. Bon has been a member of the Samson team since 1974, when he began on the manufacturing floor in the Massachusetts facility.

Chevron Corp. (San Ramon, California) announced that Jon M. Huntsman Jr. has been elected to Chevronís board of directors, effective Jan. 15, 2014, and will serve on the companyís board nominating and governance committee and public policy committee.

Jee Ltd. (Tonbridge, England) has appointed Michael Green as a new business development manager. Green is based at the head office and will be seeking new business opportunities to support long-term growth plans.
