Montanari
Rockland Scientific Inc. (Victoria, Canada) continues its growth with the hire of Emma Murowinski as oceanographer. Murowinski’s responsibilities will be applied throughout the technology and service spectrum.

Seatronics do Brazil (Macaé, Brazil) has appointed Thiago Montanari as sales manager. Montanari has six years of experience in the offshore industry, working extensively in the Caspian, Mediterranean, Adriatic and Caribbean seas.

The GL Group (Hamburg, Germany) has appointed David Robertson as head of practice for U.K. marine and offshore project management services and Elaine Greig as U.K. head of offshore. Robertson will lead the team delivering offshore wind project management contracts in the U.K. Greig has more than 20 years of experience in developing and constructing wind farm projects.

Paul Kronfield has joined Fugro Geospatial Inc. (Rapid City, South Dakota) as global business development manager, focusing on oil and gas business. The company owns and operates a fleet of aircraft equipped with remote sensing tools.

Hydro Group plc (Aberdeen, Scotland) has hired Gabriel Tan as technical support supervisor to staff the Singapore office. Tan spent 16 years in the Republic of Singapore Navy and is an electronic technician and trainer.

Tyler Burger is the latest member of the PMI Industries (Cleveland, Ohio) mechanical engineering team. Burger will be responsible for developing, testing and designing the company’s subsea cable management hardware and services.

Mike Brissette has joined R2Sonic (Austin, Texas) as technical sales engineer for the Americas region. Brissette’s formal sonar training includes 20 years in the Canadian Navy, where he specialized in hydrography on Canada’s west coast.

HB Rentals (Broussard, Louisiana) has made two appointments to its business operations. Brad Hirst and Mike Christie have been appointed sales and marketing manager and technical manager, respectively, and will operate out of the company’s U.K. facility.

Jon Holvik has taken over as president of the Houston, Texas-based U.S. subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime (Kongsberg, Norway). Holvik will be responsible for the U.S. customer support and project office.

The Teledyne Marine Systems (North Falmouth, Massachusetts) team welcomed two new hires. Dan Shropshire is a senior program manager who will focus on government programs and complex engineering specials. Peter Ranelli is the new product line manager for ROVs.
