Jones
Danny Murray was appointed in November as business development manager for the Middle East and North Africa, a newly created position at TWMA (Aberdeen, Scotland). He has more than 20 years of experience with these markets and has previously held senior positions at R&M Energy Systems and Varco.

Chris Jones joined BlueView Technologies Inc. (Seattle, Washington) in October as director of research and development. With more than 20 years of experience in acoustic research, he will be in charge of improving data processing and exploring new applications for BlueView's sonar systems.

Dan Gibson joined SuperPort Marine – McGregor GeoScience Ltd. (Nova Scotia, Canada) as vice president of marketing and product development. Gibson, with 25 years of experience in marine technology, will focus on business development for offshore research and survey vessels.

CDL (Aberdeen, Scotland) appointed John Roscoe-Hudson as operations director in November. Based in Houston, Texas, he will manage product development and customer support.

WASSP Ltd. (Auckland, New Zealand) in October appointed Ian McDonald as general manager, a newly created position overseeing international sales and marketing for its multibeam sonar products. Most recently, McDonald was the vice president of corporate development for Foster Moore Ltd.

Terresolve Technologies Ltd. (Mentor, Ohio) announced in September that Kenneth Shelley has joined the company as sales manager. Shelley has 27 years of experience in the maritime, military and construction industries.

David Loosley was appointed CEO of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology. Loosley, who began the new role in November, had been head of operations for the U.K. Kingdom Hydrographic Office.

Blake Powell was named president of JMS Naval Architects & Salvage Engineers (Mystic, Connecticut) in November. He previously served as vice president and has more than two decades of experience in naval architecture, marine engineering and surveying. Rick Fernandes has been named vice president.

Oceaneering International Inc. (Houston, Texas) appointed David K. Lawrence as vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective January 1. Lawrence joined the company in 2005 as assistant general counsel and has served as associate general counsel since January 2011.
