Manley

Pedersen
Justin Manley joined Teledyne Benthos Inc. (North Falmouth, Massachusetts) as senior director of business development in July. He will manage products for deep-ocean flotation and instrument housings, geophysical survey systems, ROVs, acoustic releases and acoustic modems.

VIKING Life-Saving Equipment AS (Esbjerg, Denmark) appointed Mette Line Pedersen as its new sales director for Brazil in July. She has a background in the offshore industry, including six years with VIKING in Singapore and three years in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Tritech International Ltd. (Aberdeen, Scotland) hired Glen Caldock as a technical author in August. He previously was a technical specialist for Sellafield Ltd.

Kate Moran will start a five-year term as director of the NEPTUNE Canada ocean observation system in September, succeeding founding director Chris Barnes. She comes to the position after a two-year term as assistant director for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

Niko Steindamm was appointed marketing manager of shipping at Gulf Agency Co.'s (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) Bremen, Germany, office in July. He will promote the company's global shipping activities in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

BlueView Technologies Inc. (Seattle, Washington) hired Ed Cheesman in July as director of global energy sales and business development. He previously worked at iXSea.

Paul Deterding was named general manager of Donjon Shipbuilding and Repair LLC (Erie, Pennsylvania). Deterding, with more than 25 years of experience in the marine, electrical and fire protection industries, will oversee daily operations at the facility.

Guill Tool & Engineering Co. Inc. (West Warwick, Rhode Island) named retired naval officer James R. Houston as its vice president of engineering in August. He will also handle business development.

Flexlife (Aberdeen, Scotland) in August appointed Stephen Burgdorf vice president of business development for North America. Based in Houston, Texas, Burgdorf will promote offshore project and integrity management services.

Keith Lewis joined Neptune Marine Pacific Pte Ltd. (Perth, Australia) in Singapore as its business development manager for Asia and the Middle East region in July. He was previously a project manager on the Reliance India IMR project for Helix Energy-Canyon Offshore.
