Advertising deadline for Sea Technology magazine is the 15th of the month prior to the month in which the ad is to appear. Sea Technology carries display, classified, and professional services advertisements in print as well as online banner ads here on our website and in our bi-weekly newsletter, Sea Tech e-News. Recruitment display ads in the print version also appear in a special online section.

Sea Technology Buyers Guide/Directory
This annual comprehensive purchasing guide is an authoritative answer to problem-solving for the ocean market. It combines seven different directories—Ocean/Marine Market, Industrial Firms listings, Product Buyers Guide, Service Buyers Guide, Educational Institutions, Federal Government listings, Geophysical Survey Vessels, and Oceanographic Research Vessels. The annual Buyers Guide/Directory is consulted year-round by scientists, engineers, management/operations people, and technical personnel who buy hardware and services. It is an economical and effective medium for distributing detailed product specification sheets.

Header banners: direct linking from our website to yours. Rates: $750 for 1 month; $1,000 for 3 months; $1,500 for 6 months; $2,500 for 12 months.

Mechanical specifications:
• 728 x 90 pixels (horizontal)
• 72 dpi resolution
• RGB color mode
• jpg, gif (non-animated) or png file format
• Static banners only

Sidebar banner (skyscraper) ads: positions available adjacent to Sea Technology's online news columns. 1 month: $1,875; 2 months: $3,000; 3 months: $4,000; 6 months: $7,000. 9 months: $9,000. 12 months: $10,000.

Mechanical specifications:
• MUST be 160 pixels wide (with 1 pixel border around image)
• MUST be 250 pixels long
• 72 dpi resolution
• RGB color mode
• jpg, gif or png file format (flash and animated gifs okay)


Sea Tech e-News banner ads: positions available in our bi-weekly newsletter on a first-come, first-served basis. Rate: $50 for one banner ad per edition.

Mechanical specifications:
Same as Sidebar banner specifications with the following differences:

• animated files should be less than 200 KB
• images should be less than 50 KB
• These file types are not acceptable: flash, javascript, and embedded multimedia (mov, flv, wmv, mpeg).
